• Led a department of 13 (comprising researchers, designers, and product managers), set team goals, held 1:1 in-person or virtual meetings to align on objectives, create action items, and executed improvement strategies. Managed candidate selection, onboarding, training, and daily performance of direct reports. Handled performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.

• Developed a multi-year roadmap for 80% vertical integration of Building Performance Analysis tools, as well as executed detailed quarterly plans, conducting weekly releases averaging 50 features/yr, 20 new product offerings, and an interconnected product portfolio.

• Maximized organizational strengths by hosting company-wide training sessions & product feedback loops to align the team on product direction and positioning, leading to a 14% increased closing ratio, a 76% shorter sales cycle, and a 36.5% increased Annual NNARR. 

• Standardized research handoff procedure to cut SDLC in half and maintained a 6-month lead time on software development, a 100% improvement from the prior year. Addressed staffing, sprint planning, quality assurance, and tech stack deficiencies with software leadership to increase feature launches by 316% while reducing new bug reports to a company-record-low 16%.

• Redesigned the Customer Success onboarding strategy to increase client usage by 16% and upskilled the Support and Live chat team to keep customer satisfaction above 95%. This resulted in 127% NRR, and 10% higher expansion rates, with churn rates below 5% - an industry outlier for a Series B B2B SaaS company. Word-of-mouth marketing remains the top factor in new logo acquisition. 

• Pivoted product team to strategically increase demos, webinars, and support calls by 233%, leading to higher conversion and retention rates. To improve customer experience, content generation and article writing also increased by 67%, with the current help center having over 500 articles and 50+ video tutorials. Content Marketing also increased by 66% with the wealth of diverse media to recirculate.

• Organized cross-functional, one-time and recurring meetings to improve problem-solving, centralized communications, fast-track solutions into actionable items, and kept other departments informed of developments that would affect their function.

• Developed sustainability project goals, objectives, initiatives, and strategies, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, technical feasibility, and owner/institutional/community interests.  

• Collaborated with industry professionals for proposal writing, scheduling, sourcing, and documentation which met criteria for LEED, WELL, Green Globes, Living Building, and Georgia Peach Certification.  

• Improved sustainability rating by 30% for multiple projects certified under the programs mentioned above.
